Good, but snug fit for 15.4" Macbook Pro December 23, 2008 Max N. Sandoval (Honolulu, HI) This backpack is well made and really comfortable. The shape of the handles sits really well on my shoulder blades not to mention there is plenty of room. There are some CONS about this item. I ordered this item and its dark blue/grey. I posted pictures under "Share your own customer images". Its not a major issue for me, but for some who really wanted this color it could possibly be a dealbreaker. Also, I have a 15.4" MacBook Pro and it fits well, but I just almost wish its a .5" taller. If you're not careful and you just open the bag, you could possibly scratch the corners of your MBP, though if you put it in a sleeve, it will fit in the bag, though a very tight fit. Nice size, great construction, and comfortable to carry. December 12, 2008 Anjana Nigam (Atlanta, GA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This backpack is very well constructed with good stitching. The size is just right, roomy enough for a decent sized laptop but small enough to not become too bulky when full of stuff. It also stows nicely under a plane seat. It has a padded sleeve in the back section to stash your laptop. It fitted my 15 inch screen Lenovo laptop easily and will probably accommodate up to 17 inch (diagonal screen size) laptop but it will be snug. You can also fit other books files in the rest of the area. I like the square padded section on the back which is designed to keep your back cool in hot weather. The straps are very comfortable and the backpack does not hurt my back even if I have it on for some hours. The cell phone pocket on one strap and the sunglass hook on the other is very convenient and came in handy on a vacation. There is also a front section which has a circular pocket for media - I keep my Blackberry and Zune in it. There is another cell phone pocket on the inside as well as 2-3 other small zipper pockets for money, credit cards, id cards etc. The semicircular zip right in the front is especially convenient as this is a smaller section for all the items to which you need quicker access so you won't have to dig deep through the 2 main sections. The side elastic net pockets are also very roomy and handy. I like the smooth look and the rugged construction of this bag. It works well for office/school or for casual use on a vacation. This bag comes in another color SwissGear Computer Backpack (Gray/Red) and some other reviewers seem to have received that one instead of the one pictured here.
Good quality backpack, but NOT as pictured December 10, 2008 Jeffrey A. Melton (fort wayne, IN United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The backpack I received was similar in structure to the one pictured, but NOT the same colors. It has a light, silvery gray instead of the darker gray and unattractive red/orange accent colors on the bottom and (where the light gray is pictured) and on the shoulder straps. If my wife doesn't like it, I'm planning on returning it. Buyer beware.
Great backpack BUT not as pictured December 4, 2008 I. Bytomuch (North Carolina) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Great quality backpack, but I was expecting what was in the picture. Still a handsome dark grey / grey.
